Meet Our Coaching Staff
Introducing Lindsay Rawstorne, the maestro behind the scenes who holds the prestigious position of Sunpro Tennis & Pickleball Club Facility Director. With a remarkable career spanning two decades, Lindsay is not just a tennis instructor; he is a true connoisseur of the sport. Lindsay’s commitment to excellence is underscored by his certification from the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) but also a distinguished Team Utah Head Coach, holding certifications as both USPTA Elite and APC (Wheelchair certified). This certification is a testament to his dedication to honing his skills and staying at the forefront of tennis instruction.
Before embarking on his journey as a tennis instructor, Lindsay showcased his talent on the collegiate stage as the University of Utah’s #1 player. His prowess on the court didn’t go unnoticed, as he was crowned the W.A.C. (Western Athletic Conference) tennis player of the year in 1992. He also achieved a top 20 ranking in the country for NCAA D1, and securing the #3 spot in the National USPTA ranking in 1996, followed by #5 in 2000. Lindsay’s collegiate achievements are a testament to his unwavering dedication and unmatched skill. But Lindsay’s accolades don’t stop there. He boasts an impressive collection of four National French Tennis titles, a feat that speaks volumes about his prowess on both clay and hard courts. His achievements on the international stage highlight his versatility and adaptability as a player. During his 20 years of coaching, he also led the Skyridge High Tennis team to the state championships.
With Lindsay at the helm, Sunpro Tennis & Pickleball Club can proudly claim to have one of the most experienced and decorated tennis professionals in the industry. His expertise, passion, and wealth of knowledge ensure that every member in our club is in the best possible hands.
